1977 MGB Roadster V8 Conversion

Our Roadster V8 conversion is now complete! 

  • 4.0 V8 engine to include:
    • JWR low rise intake
    • Weber 500, 4 barrel carburettor and low rise air filter
    • Performance front cover with high flow oil pump system
    • Alternator, water pump, front crank damper with 6K poly V belt system
    • MGRV8 flywheel and clutch assembly
    • Alloy engine mounts
    • Modified distributor and lead set
    • High torque starter motor
    • RV8 style full stainless exhaust system with tubular polished headers
    • Revotec dual fans with temp control
    • Silicone hoses
    • 3 core high flow V8 Radiator
    • Remote oil filter housing with braded stainless hoses
    • 16 row oil cooler with braded stainless hoses
    • Refurbished rear axle with new 3.07:1 crown wheel and pinion fitted
  • NEW Mazda MX-5 5 Speed Transmission:
    • Vitesse Main Case
    • Vitesse Bellhousing
    • Vitesse Machined Billet Front Plate
    • Modified rear case with Mazda mechanical Speedo Drive Assembly
  • Vitesse bespoke clutch friction plate
  • Vitesse shift lever and Mazda gear knob
  • Concentric Slave Cylinder Assembly and competition-spec Clutch Pipe
  • Vitesse Prop Shaft
  • Spigot Bush with Mazda OE needle roller bearing assembly
  • Speedo Drive Cable
  • Vitesse Gearbox Rear Mount Bracket Assembly and Isolator

The car also has:

  • Complete new harness
  • Chrome bumper conversion
  • New uprated springs and dampers all round
  • V8 brake assy with drilled and grooved discs and braided lines
  • New chrome wire wheels
  • Halogen headlights
  • New dash assy, door cards, carpets
